Alienware, a hardware subsidiary of Dell, has added Ubuntu in its kitty. Alienware is known for selling customized gaming desktops, laptops and accessories. Dell had previously launched XPS 13 with Ubuntu and it seems that the tie-up between the two is doing quite well. Announcement of Alienware X51 gaming desktop with option of running Ubuntu is a proof. It means that users can now choose Ubuntu instead of other OS while purchasing Alienware X51 series desktops. Since, Alienware has support for NVIDIA drivers by default, it means, X51 users should not have troubles with NVIDIA graphics on Ubuntu and they can run games out of the box.
