In Dolphin File Manager, you can bring the Toolbar to the top, bottom, left or right. To do this, right-click on an empty space on the toolbar and uncheck the “Lock Toolbar Positions” button.
Now, right-click on the newly appearing handle on the left, and then select Orientation > Your required orientation.
You can lock it again by re-enabling the “Lock Toolbar Positions” option, to make it lock on the new position.
