First Ubuntu Tablet Available For Pre-Order

If you were excited to hear the announcement of Ubuntu OS for tablets, here is another round of excitement for you. First Ubuntu tablet is available for pre-order. Australian company Intematrix has priced the 7 inches Ubuntu tablet, Intermatrix U7,  at AUS $299. It does sound a little expensive, is it not? But good thing is that first 50 orders will get 10% discount and thus bringing the price to AUS $269.10.

Before you rush for the pre-order, you should also think about the shipping date. As speculated by Muktware, the shipping will start by October 2013. If are willing to wait that long, feel free to do a pre-order here.

While tablets are popular, Linux is still not mainstream enough to expect much in sales from this device.

I don't think that this device even went in production. It should have started shipping in May'14 but even the website is not updated. Dead project perhaps.

CAmera is too less

It good tablet but 1GB is not enough like ram
