## 💡 Quick Handy Tip

On Linux Mint, you can choose a new default terminal application. For doing this, search and open "*Preferred Applications*", then scroll down to the bottom and select a terminal app from the list.

![](https://itsfoss.com/content/images/2024/11/preferred-applications-1-select-a-terminal-for-terminal.png)

You can also provide custom arguments in the field that appears below the selector. Just remember, the default one on your LM installation is good enough, switch only if you feel the need for it.

## 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 FOSSverse Corner

Google [might be forced to sell Chrome](https://www.cnbc.com/2024/11/20/doj-pushes-for-google-to-break-off-chrome-browser-after-antitrust-case.html?ref=itsfoss.com) as part of the U.S. DOJ's antitrust lawsuit. [FOSSers are discussing](https://itsfoss.community/t/google-must-sell-chrome-to-end-search-monopoly/12795?ref=itsfoss.com) whether it is appropriate to do so.

[Google must sell Chrome to end search monopoly!I know several of our contributors are against google But should companies be forced to sell parts of themselves ? Google was built around search engines and browsers, I know now they offer other tools in the form of storage, sheets, docs, maps … a long list. In the same vain, should microsoft be forced to sell bing search or even edge. Several years ago we had the browser wars and microsoft had to offer the choice. But google does not force its use, on linux when you install from the dist…![](https://itsfoss.com/content/images/icon/f274f9749e3fd8b4d6fbae1cf90c5c186d2f699c_2_180x180-13.png)It's FOSS Communitycallpaul.eu (Paul)![](https://itsfoss.com/content/images/thumbnail/f274f9749e3fd8b4d6fbae1cf90c5c186d2f699c-12.png)](https://itsfoss.community/t/google-must-sell-chrome-to-end-search-monopoly/12795?ref=itsfoss.com)
