A 'funny' thing happened this week.

It's FOSS [received a DMCA takedown notice](https://twitter.com/itsfoss2/status/1681174535629066240?ref=itsfoss.com). It was against this tutorial about [managing startup applications in Ubuntu](https://itsfoss.com/manage-startup-applications-ubuntu/). The DMCA report was filed by someone (using automated bots) who thought that the content violated the copyrights of the TV series StartUp.

I filed an appeal, which was resolved in a few days. But the entire episode shows the reckless use of stupid bots. Imagine if someone deliberately used this mechanism to target independent, small publishers like us 😱

**💬 Let's see what you get in this edition of FOSS Weekly:**

- Linux Mint 21.2 is available now
- Creating custom ISO from Ubuntu and Linux Mint install
- A filmmaker shares his experience using FOSS tech to make films
- Continuation of our Bash Basics series.
- And other Linux news, videos, Puzzles and, of course, memes!
