After extensively [teasing](https://x.com/vivaldibrowser/status/1844707061667438716?ref=itsfoss.com) that something big was coming, the developers of Vivaldi have finally unveiled the next step-up for the Chromium-based web browser. 📋 Vivaldi is a ****non-FOSS solution**, with the UI side of things being closed source. We cover it because it's available for Linux. ## 🆕 Vivaldi 7.0: What's New? In a recent [announcement](https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldi-on-desktop-7-0/?ref=itsfoss.com), the CEO of Vivaldi, [Jon von Tetzchner](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonv1/?ref=itsfoss.com), introduced the Vivaldi 7.0 release with some major changes to the interface and other aspects of the browser. Similarly, the [Feed Reader](https://vivaldi.com/features/feed-reader/?ref=itsfoss.com) also receives love in the form of an overhaul, with there now being separate feed folders and **support for subscribing to YouTube channels without having to log in** to a Google account. There is also a Feed Reader widget available for the newly added Dashboard.
