If you are not familiar, **CrossOver is a** **paid software** that has been built on top of various open-source components that **allows you to run Windows software on Linux** and other platforms. With further upgrades to various components that include: **Wine Mono 7.4.0**, **vkd3d 1.8**, **DXVK 1.10.3,** and **MoltenVK 1.2.3**. It has been made very straightforward now. With this, support for many games was also added. You can now run games such as [The Sims 4](https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4?ref=itsfoss.com), [Titanfall 2](https://www.ea.com/games/titanfall/titanfall-2?ref=itsfoss.com), and [Mass Effect Legendary Edition](https://www.ea.com/games/mass-effect/mass-effect-legendary-edition?ref=itsfoss.com).
