Today is a special day for It’s FOSS. It completes its three years today (14th June). It’s been a long journey and we (I and you) have come a long way since then. A lot have happened on It’s FOSS since its first port (ignore the updated date).
So, where does It’s FOSS stand after three years?
To provide you some stats, it had 9.8 million views, 16.8 K Facebook fans, 1.8K Google Plus followers, 170 followers on newly created Twitter account and close to 16K newsletter subscribers. A big thanks to all of you for being the part of this journey.
What lies in future?
I am trying to grow It’s FOSS as much as possible to make it one of the most helpful Linux blogs for beginners and help people like and love desktop Linux. To help you out, I started this request your tutorial feature. I may not be able to respond and come up the tutorials immediately, since I work alone in my free time, but I do encourage you to use it.
Several users have requested to start a YouTube channel. I have created one but it doesn’t have any videos just yet. I plan to make tutorial videos in future but I must accept that I have hardly any experience with it. Do let me know if you think it’s a good idea.
To engage more on social media, I have also created a Pinterest account recently. You are more than welcome to follow the pins there :)
